DAY 1 :
ARRIVAL - MAUN AIRPORT TO KALAHARI PLAINS
After clearing customs and immigration at Maun Airport, you will be assisted tothe light aircraft for your air transfer to Kalahari Plains Camp. After settling into camp and a delicious lunch we’ll head out on an afternoon game drive.
DAY 2 & 3 :
Full days of safaris at Kalahari Plains, with early morning and afternoon game drives in a private safari vehicle with experienced guides and accompanied by your photographic host. Game is abundant here and in the summer, Cheetah and black-maned Kalahari lions follow the herds of gemsbok and Springbok that gather. In between drives, we will find time to run through some of our images on a computer and work through some post production techniques in Adobe's Light Room.
DAY 4 - 6 :
From Kalahari Plains we board a light aircraft again and head for the Delta and Kwetsani Camp. Kwetsani offers the perfect Okavango ‘combination’ experience. Its extremely remote location gives access to both water and dry land areas, allowing guests to see all aspects of the Delta’s makeup. Accommodation is in unique tree-house style tents, which provide exceptional views from their elevated positions, looking out over floodplains dotted with game. Full days of safari activities with game drives, mokoro and boat rides on offer.
DAY 7-9 :
From Kwetsani, its another short light aircraft flight north-east to Vumbura Plains. This modern-style safari camp is our home for our last 3 nights of this safari.
At Vumbura we will spend most of time on game drives and focus our attention on the resident large predators of the area. Once again early morning and afternoon activities will take up most of our time with some editing work and tutorials in the comfort of the lodge during the day.
DAY 10 :
Unfortunately this is our last morning on safari, and after a morning drive, and a hearty breakfast, it''s time for one last flight over the delta and back to Maun.
